Fabian Proano, MD
Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management
Interventional Pain Management
Dr. Fabian Proano completed his undergraduate studies at Santa Clara University, and attended medical school at University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. His residency training was in Anesthesiology at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center, during which he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Proano also completed an advanced specialty fellowship in Interventional and Multidisciplinary Pain Management at UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Proano is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in the specialties of Anesthesiology as well as Pain Management.
Dr. Proano has always been actively involved in research and publication, having authored several papers in his respective areas of expertise. He gives frequent lectures and participates in educational workshops in the areas of Interventional Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine, and adult stem cell therapies. Dr. Proano has also served as Medical Director of Pain Management at several hospitals.
Dr. Proano has become actively involved in the field of Regenerative Medicine. His interest and knowledge of the science of adult stem cell medicine, coupled with his expertise and vast experience performing precise image-guided spinal and joint injections for over 25 years, has made him one of the leaders of this new and exciting discipline.

Katrina von Kriegenbergh, MD
Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management
Interventional Pain Management
Dr. Katrina von Kriegenbergh is an interventional pain management doctor who empathizes with those suffering from chronic pain and loss of function after an injury ended her ballet career. She earned a B.A. in Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley and graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine with honors and research distinction.
She served as Chief Resident during Anesthesiology residency and stayed at Texas Tech to complete a Pain Medicine fellowship as it is widely regarded as one of the most prominent and respected Pain Medicine fellowships in the country with extensive interventional experience. Dr. von Kriegenbergh specializes in interventional pain procedures for the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine including implantation of spinal cord stimulators and medication pumps. She treats sympathetically mediated pain for complex regional pain syndrome and chronic abdominal and pelvic pain.
She is trained in interventional procedures for cervicogenic and migraine headaches, including nerve blocks and Botox® for chronic migraine. Dr. von Kriegenbergh is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
